CREATE PERCEPTUAL DEPTH IN YOUR MOVEMENT & BODYWORK PRACTICE

Join anatomist and bodywork teacher Michael Hamm LMP CCST in 5 experiential classes focused on human architecture, movement and expression. Weaving insights from modern embryology, fascia science, and somatic neuroscience, these classes are meant to be fun and transformative for any practice of embodiment.

IDEAL STUDENTS ARE: Teachers of somatic practices. Integrative Yogis, Pilateans, Gyrotoners, Martial artists. Dancers/Choreographers/Artists seeking new insights into human architecture. Bodyworkers. Physical and movement therapists.

METHODS: Interactive movement. Drawing/visualizing new maps of the body. Guided awareness exercises. Palpation (with consent) of self and other. Breath.



SUNDAYS • JAN 28 thru FEB 25 • 6:45p-9:15p • $40 per CLASS

Jan 28 • Body as Tree: Moving your Nerves & Blood Vessels (2.5hrs)

Feb 04 • Body as Water Balloon: Moving your Fluid Chambers (2.5hrs)

Feb 11 • Body as Ring Column: Moving your Ribs, Jaw, Pelvis & Spine (2.5hrs)

Feb 18 • Body as Resonator: Moving your Diaphragm, Larynx, & Sinuses (2.5hrs)

Feb 25 • Body as Heart: Moving your (actual and imagined) Heart (2.5hrs)
