Across societies, decisions are made daily about the form of, access to and delivery of healthcare to international communities. In many cases, women are tasked with making just such choices for themselves and/or their families. However, what are the circumstances in which these decisions are made? How do attitudes and beliefs about women in various realms influence policy and practice? This panel of experts will discuss the impact of the status of women in the countries where they work in regards to the policies, scope and delivery of healthcare.
