Embers of Yule: A Celebration of the Longest Night
6:30-8:00pm

Join us for an immersive and traditional Winter Solstice celebration centered around the ancient practice of burning the Yule Log. In this class and ceremony, we explore the roots of midwinter fire rituals, tracing their history through old European customs and honoring the deep symbolism of light emerging from the darkest night of the year.
Together, we will prepare and bless a sacred Yule Log adorned with evergreens, herbs, and sun symbols. Participants will be guided through reflection practices, writing intentions for release and renewal, and offering them to the flames as a symbolic gesture of transformation. As the fire grows, we welcome the rebirth of the sun, invite warmth back into our lives, and celebrate the shifting of the seasons with community, stillness, and shared tradition.
This class blends gentle instruction, storytelling, and ritual in a grounded, nature-based format accessible to all experience levels. Whether you are new to solstice traditions or continuing a long practice, this ceremony offers a meaningful way to connect with the turning of the year, the wisdom of the season, and the light returning within us all.
