Since the beginning of time, Africans have made worldwide contributions to culture, language, religion, music, food, dance and art as seen not only in Africa but in South and Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean the United States and throughout the world. In celebration of Black History Month honoring their accomplishments, the Elombe Brath Foundation presents:
“BLACKNESS! A Celebration Of Black Art In The African Diaspora” curated by Bob Gumbs, at the Boricua College Art Gallery, Audubon Terrace Campus, 3755 Broadway@156th Street. You are cordially invited to attend the opening reception on February 10th, 2017, from 5pm-8pm, featuring African Diaspora visual & photography artists: Nomsa Brath, John Brathwaite, Kwame Braithwaite, Ras Ishi Butcher, Minerva Diaz, Earl D. Etienne,
Bob Gumbs, Bernard Stanley Hoyes, Ademola Olugebefola, Otto Neals, Burnus McKnight, Mildred McGee, Andrea Butler Ramsey, Barbara Russell, Gina Samson, Ernani Silva .
