ELIG Conference 2017 Hack the Educational Future
Event Information
Description
Hack the Educational Future
Digitalization is progressing rapidly. Impacting the domain of work but also our social and private lifes. A popular narrative goes that education and learning would generally lag behind in this transformation and could even fail to provide 21st century skills.
ELIG 2017 „Hack the Educational Future“ challenges this narrative and brings together leading cases from European schools to higher education and innovative workplace learning. From maker-, coding- and creative grassroots initiatives, EdTech firms and the education industry. Experience with us and join the debate how modern learning and education can empower to take creative control and shape the digital future.
We will also explore the impact of latest cognitive – such as natural language processing or AI – and immersive technologies and how they could lead to new personalised learning experiences at large scale.
What could be a better location to experience the emerging Digital Learning Culture in Europe first-hand than the EU 2017 Capital of Culture: Aarhus, Denmark?

Let's Start the Discussion
The Dokk1 Mediaspace – named the world's Best Public Library of 2016 and visited by over a 1 Mio people per year – was already a case at our Paris Conference on „Learning Places of the Future". In this year, we will make use of the exceptional spaces for the plenary day 2 of the ELIG Conference.
