Event description

Description

ELI Talks warmly invites you to an evening of inspired Jewish ideas by our Fall 2016 ELI Speakers December 20, 21, and 22 at the Center on Halsted at the heart of Lakeview's Jewish community in Chicago.

R' Ari Weiss: the meaning of a "gift"
Hillel Broder: poetry and prayer
Julie Seltzer: writing Torahs, making meaning
Lex Rofes: the internet and Judaism's other lands
Sam Fleischacker: how to listen to one another and the Torah

Enjoy a reception at 5:30 PM while you shmooze with folks from some of the most inspired Jewish organizations in Chicagoland. Taping will begin at 6:30 PM--please be prompt.

It won't be the same without you in the room. Join us.

ELI Talks is bringing our production of TED-style "inspired Jewish ideas" back to Chicago! Join us in to studio audience for any of 3 nights of talks, December 20, 21, and 22. Tickets for individuals and groups each night are available below. Questions about the event, or about how to connect with ELI? Contact ELI Talks Program Coordinator, Mary Otts, at motts@see3.com.
