Elf photo, letters to Santa , crafts,cocoa and meet our life size head elf

The Porch in Ocean Springs is a set of boutique vacation rental cottages that offers a themed Christmas experience for its guests and visitors.

We are pleased to have been selected to be a Christmas pop up Santa Mail Drop off location at our iconic flagship location- The Porch Downtown at 1709 Government street. To keep up with the demand, we were sent a team of helper elves that can be seen from our "snowglobe" elf observation deck.

On November 22, from 3-6:30 join us for smores , a cocoa bar, life sized elf visits , crafts , letters to Santa and an elf photo in our elf designed photo wall by travel blogger & influencer Brooke Varnell.

Event fee is $25.

Brooke will be available throughout the weekend for a longer photo mini photoshoot at the Porch in our Christmas wonderland or available by request to shoot on location ( separate fee please Inquire for more info)

During the Christmas season, The Porch properties are extensively decorated and turn into a "Christmas village" or "Christmas hotel". The decorations include "hanging snow globes" and an "elf walk" scavenger hunt.

A notable feature is their official "pop-up Santa mail post office drop", where visitors can drop off letters and wish cards to Santa in a special North Pole mailbox located at their 1709 Government Street location. Elves are said to hand-deliver the letters to the North Pole each week.
