Elevator Pitch Workshop
Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (CDT)
Just in time for the IDEAS Weekend event, you will learn the simple elements of an elevator pitch, the finer points of tailoring an elevator pitch to different audiences, and the importance of being succinct.
Participants will have an opportunity to develop a rough elevator pitch during the session and receive constructive guidance and feedback from the instructor as well as session participants. Elevator pitches can be used in many different contexts; pitching yourself, a startup idea, a school project, etc.
This session is very useful if you plan on attending the IDEAS Weekend event October 4-6 and want to pitch an idea!
NOTE: you must be a University of Memphis student or faculty to attend this event. A valid Student ID is required for admission.
