Event description

Description

Curated and hosted by Elevations Credit Union’s own Community Events Manager, Jeffrey Kash, this series brings the classics to the big screen in the community room of Elevations’ offices at 1 Environmental Way in Broomfield, near Flatiron Crossing Mall. Come rediscover or be introduced to your new favorite movie! Space is limited so be sure to RSVP early.

Back again, this has become an Elevations holiday tradition! Mame Dennis (Rosalind Russell) – irrepressible, adoring, easily distracted, utterly down-to-earth – is the guardian any sensible child would love to have. Her Beekman Place apartment on Manhattan's Upper East Side is filled with partygoers sipping bathtub gin, nibbling caviar, chatting up Broadway stars and Indian mystics. "Life is a banquet," goes Mame's motto, and when she's around, every moment of that banquet holds a surprise. Mame believes in trying things, thumbing your nose at convention, and taking roads less traveled because they're bound to be more interesting. Directed by Morton DaCosta with sumptuous costumes by Orry-Kelly. Coral Browne, Forrest Tucker, Robin Hughes and Peggy Cass co-star in Betty Comden and Adolph Green’s screenplay adaption of Patrick Dennis’ whimsical novel.
