Event description

Description

Join us for this important conference where participants will learn how to enhance instructional programming to meet the needs of all learners and reach the expectations of 21st-Century standards.

Our keynote speaker, Dr. Barbara Blackburn, author of “Rigor is NOT a Four-Letter Word,” explains what instructional rigor is, discusses specific aspects of instruction that support rigor, and provides practical examples of rigorous instructional activities for the classroom.

You will also hear from Connecticut educators who have found ways to scaffold instruction and increase student growth and achievement.

This program is geared toward District/School Teams—superintendents, assistant superintendents, curriculum coordinators, school leaders, instructional coaches, and teachers.

Attendance includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

Availability is limited, so please register early. There is a substantial discount if you register by February 15.

CCER is hosting this conference in partnership with the Connecticut State Department of Education, the Connecticut Association of Schools, and the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents.
