Michael R. Munz, President/Director, The Dalton Agency, Inc.; CEO, Rummell Munz Partners, LLC

Michael has more than 29-years of experience in business, corporate strategy & business development, government relations and corporate communications. As a businessman and strategists, he has successfully led and advised clients and managed projects achieving results for a variety of regional, national and international companies. As a president/director at the Dalton Agency, Michael oversees many operational components of the company as well as the PR and Social Media Group. Michael has experience in a variety of sectors including: real estate, consumer marketing transportations and logistics, manufacturing and distribution, development, travel and tourism, healthcare, insurance and banking, law firms, HR/IT, crisis communications, sports marketing and early stage start-ups.

As the CEO of Rummell-Munz, an international real estate and venture-oriented firm, Michael manages the day-to-day operations of the firm focusing on all aspects of the diverse portfolio of firm projects including real estate, early stage and venture start-up development, branding and product positioning and business analysis.


Angela Spears, President, Angela Spears Communication

Angela is president of Angela Spears Communication, a marketing, public relations and community engagement company. She believes great storytelling is a crucial aspect in everyone’s life. She is utilizing her more than 20 years of broadcasting and public relations experience to focus on “The Power of Your Voice.”

She has previously served as public relations senior executive for the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and community engagement officer and special assistant to former Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown. She also served as deputy director of communications for the mayor and the city of Jacksonville.

Angela has worked as a community liaison for DaVita, a leading kidney care provider in the United States. She has served as the public information officer for the Nassau County Sheriff's Office in Yulee, Florida.

She began her professional career in the television industry. Angela was an anchor/reporter for the NBC/ABC affiliate in Jacksonville. She reported for the morning show and anchored the noon show. She also worked for the CBS affiliate in Waco, Texas as an anchor/reporter.

Angela is a native Texan. She grew up in Corpus Christi. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism - Broadcast News Degree.

Angela volunteers with many organizations. She enjoys working with young people. She is also passionate about organ donation awareness. Angela was named a 2015 and 2016 Woman of Influence by the Southeast Small Business Magazine. She also won the Florida Law Enforcement Public Information Officers Association’s 2017 Public Image Award.

In her spare time, Angela likes to read, exercise, listen to music and shop! She is a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. where she serves as the president of the Jacksonville chapter and immediate past international communications director and historian. Angela also hosts a weekly talk radio show, Jax Engage with Angela Spears, on The Victory Station AM 1360/FM 94.7.

Ashley Tappan, Consultant, Insigniam

Ashley Tappan possesses career expertise in an array of industries, including sports, television, customer service, sales, and leadership development. She has worked with business leaders to fulfill their visions across the globe for over twenty years. Among her clients are a manufacturing facility that went from “good” to “best-in-class” in execution and higher utilization, which resulted in customer service levels rising from 67% to 100%.

Before joining Insigniam, Ashley managed, built, and led training in leadership and high performance at a competitive telecommunications company. She also worked for the world’s largest television shopping channel for four years in on-air sales where she helped grow a line of specialty travel accessories into a multimillion-dollar business.

Ashley’s ability to develop and coach innovative programs that lead to unprecedented results has earned her several accolades, including recognition as a Rising Star and a Luminary of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.

Ashley attended Indiana University, where she received her B.A. while cycling competitively. Today, she is an active triathlete and coaches people to use their fitness as a tool for developing their leadership.

CFO Leadership Council members may attend this program for free. Non-member senior financial executives who are CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Directors of Finance and Controllers (or the like) are welcome to attend this program at a one-time cost of $60.

Please note that service providers or any executives who are not senior financial executives (CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, Directors of Finance, etc.) will not be admitted attendance to this event. The CFO Leadership Council reserves the right to decline any registration.
