Event description
100 years ago, the community of Greenwood, Tulsa a thriving but segregated community of Black Americans was destroyed in just two days.

About this event

The Greenwood District in Tulsa, OK – better known as Black Wall Street – the segregated community that was originally built out of necessity but thrived, has a legacy in American history that has not been fully explored.

This year you will hear and see a lot about the destruction of that area of Tulsa, but we will explore the excellence that was Greenwood and we can rebuild wealth within communities of color.

The first day of this event is free and open to the public. We will have experts speaking and how just we can take the lessons of Black Wall Street and apply them to our lives today.

The second day of this event is open to influencers within the personal finance community who primarily reach individuals of color. We will focus on building our businesses to continue to reach our audiences.

More details and speakers will be posted at http://elevateworkshops.com.
