REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 7:00AM with Continental Breakfast

 

PRESENTATIONS BEGIN AT 8:00AM

 

Presenters will provide blocks of instruction on identifying indicators of violent offenders and civilian response to an active shooting event, the trends of Improvised Explosive Devices (IED), the capability of Victim Assistance programs, and see how events unfold through the Washington Navy Yard case study.  An area of focus will show how behavioral assessment programs can porvide insight for K-12, colleges, businesses and houses of worship. 

 

Student aid materials available:

 

Reference material on active shooter, hate groups, campus threats, cyber threats, and other topics.

On The INLETS

On The INLETS (INtelligence and Law Enforcement Training Seminar) began in 2011 and has been offered in seven states, including the five-day Mid-Atlantic INLETS seminar in Annapolis, as well as New Orleans' Gulf Coast INLETS, and the Hawaiian Island INLETS in Honolulu.  

Referred to as the best training in law enforcement, it has welcomed over 6,000 attendees from 600 agencies, 300 companies, over 75 K-12 and Institutions of Higher Education from nearly 40 states across three time zones and seven countries. 

A collaborative training program, On the INLETS partners with the FBI offices in Washington, DC and Baltimore, the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC - the state fusion center), and the InfraGard National Capital Region Members Alliance (InfraGardNCR) in Washington, DC - our host and fiduciary advisor.
