Description

Explore electronics with a week of circuit building projects. Learn how electronic circuits work by taking apart gadgets, prototyping with kits, and safely experimenting with components. Build circuits with LED lights, sounds, motors, batteries, and simple microchips. This hands-on camp a great foundation for kids who want to get into electrical engineering or robotics. Take home your own kit of parts with project guides as well as a complete soldered project.

For grades 6 - 8

School Schedules: Matches Durham and Chapel Hill-Carrboro traditional calendars (spring break); Durham Year Round (spring break).

Location: At Kramden Institute in Durham near RTP

Camp Hours: 9 am - 4 pm. Earliest dropoff: 8:30 am. Latest pickup: 4:30 pm

Students must bring a bag lunch. Water, snacks, and class materials will be provided.
No refunds within two weeks of camp start date. See all camp policies on our site.
