MORNING
The first module of the workshop covers the basic building blocks of sound synthesis and sound design. An overview of the key components and techniques used in today’s electronic music is followed by a classification system for the most common sounds in electronic music. You’ll not only learn how to recognize these sounds but you'll also learn the synthesis techniques by which they can be produced
AFTERNOON
Second module focuses on sound synthesis techniques. You will gain insight into different sound sculpting methods and how they can be used. No matter what you’re used to working with, the knowledge you'll gain is applicable to all of them. You’ll also be presented to the use of spectrograms to both analyze and synthesize your favorite sounds.
After following these two modules you'll have gained a broad and deep understanding of the principles of sound synthesis and sound design. It also gives you new insights on how to create your own sounds and use them in future productions and projects.
