Event description

Description

Is it time to switch to an electric vehicle?

Our guest speaker Adam Dadeby will be giving us an illustrated talk and answering your questions about what it is like to live with an electric vehicle. Last year, he made a trip in a 2015 Nissan Leaf from Devon to the north of Shetland- hear first-hand about his experience on the trip, and on using an EV day-to-day.

He will also look at the wider transition to electric transport – cars, buses, ferries, trucks, vans, even planes – and how and whether they can help the transition to a post-fossil fuel era.

A fascinating insight into the new world of driving electric, we're delighted to welcome Adam, an EV expert from the UK, to Les Cotils to find out more about this exciting future.

Guernsey Electricity's Chief Operating Office Sally-Ann David will also be discussing our developments, and the challenges and opportunties Guernsey will be facing in the future.

19:30-21:00 at Les Cotils, Guernsey on Wednesday 18 July 2018

Join us at this free event to discover more about the future of electric transport. Find out how driving electric can benefit you, your family, and the environment. Ask questions and learn more at this informal opportunity.
