Election Outcome: Anger. Grief, Elation, Fear: A Discussion from the Jungian Perspective
Regardless of your choice in this year’s election, our American democracy is being tested, and consequently, our individual and collective abilities to handle our aggression is palpable, for fear is a powerful force and can easily give way to violence. As the division grows we lose not only our connection to each other, testing the very fabric of our American spirit. No matter which side you are on, division can only be healed through relationship. Grief and mourning can serve as a powerful antidote to violence, and we hope that this meeting will serve as a container in which can deposit some of our grief.
Please join Renee Cunningham, PhD, and Bill Steinke, Hospice Chaplain for a meeting in unity.
All are welcome-in an attempt to understand, through an examination of shadow, what we have lost.
