Your presence is requested to participate in the Elder Financial Abuse and Exploitation Collaborative on January 26, 2018, at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

As a primary goal, this Collaborative is intended to open communication related to elder financial abuse and exploitation in Texas through highlighting best practices and current challenges. This event will host diverse panel experts from the arenas of prevention, protection and prosecution and facilitated discussions among participants. Topics will include current issues, legislative goals, conflicts in community policies and procedures, and system goals and processes which enhance or inhibit our abilities to effectively deal with the financial abuse and exploitation of older adults in Texas.

Invited participants consist of leaders and experts in the field of Elder Financial Abuse & Exploitation including attorneys, law enforcement, legislative representatives, Adult Protective Services, Fort Worth Elder Abuse Prevention Task Force, Dallas Elder Financial Safety Center, Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney’s Elder Financial Fraud Unit, and other associated individuals & agencies from across Texas.

Registration is required as space is limited. There is no charge for this meeting.
