About this event

Join Program Director, Ken Rother, for an information session for the 2022-23 eLab cohort on Friday, August 26 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the eHub - Collegetown, Multipurpose Room. Rother will detail program requirements, schedule, benefits, and tips for making your application competitive. Attendees will have the chance to ask questions at the end of the session.

Applications are now being accepted for eLab, Cornell’s student accelerator program! Student teams with business ideas are encouraged to apply for the fall semester to participate in programming focused on customer discovery, pitching, and business model development. Instructors will use a pre-determined rubric to evaluate teams’ performance and business models during the winter break and invite 12 teams to participate in the spring cohort. Students graduate with the experience, skills and connections to launch a successful company.

eLab alumni startups have raised over $334M in capital.

Admission into the program includes:

  • 1:1 mentoring with experienced entrepreneurs
  • Pitch events with investors (NYC, Cornell Silicon Valley, Ithaca)
  • Weekly classes, weekend bootcamps
  • Funding for customer discovery and initial investment into business
  • 4.5 credits from the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business
