Please join Tango & Stache on October 15, 2013, for a culinary journey to the region of Oaxaca, where traditional recipes and techniques converge with the bounty of Northern California to spotlight the heart and soul of the Mexican food renaissance.

Brian Felley and Mo Hodges, formerly of Big and current collaborators of The Love Boat Pop-Up at Muka, will be crafting four seasonal cocktail offerings inspired by the regional flavors of the iconic Mexican state

The Coastal Region:

Tortitas De Camarón Seco con Ceviche

 New Potatoes, Camarón Seco, Blistered Serrano Sauce,

Mezcal Ceviche of Monterey Squid and Spot Prawns

 

The Isthmus Region:

Garbanzos Guisados con Chorizo y Menta

 Modelo Especial, Garbanzo Beans, Spanish Chorizo, Plantains and Mint

 

The Tuxtepec Region:

Conejo en Adobo

Espolón Blanco Tequilla-Braised Rabbit, Smoked Guajillo Chili,

Roasted Heirloom Pumpkin, Toasted Pepitas and Hibiscus

 

The Mixteca Region:

Caprirotada

Piloncillo Poblano Sauce, Market Pears, Crème Fraiche

 

On November 19th, the series moves into the region of Jalisco with cocktails by Jen Ackrill of Rye.
