About this event
18 years ago, days after 9-11 we pulled onto Houston St.
The fire trucks & 1st responders had just left making Houston accessible to the public again.
El Vez, The Memphis Mariachis & the Lovely Elvettes performed for 2 nights@ the Mercury Lounge.
The Mercury is celebrating their 25th Anniversary. They have asked me to perform 1 of their favorite memories of their venue.
So, please join me as I perform those 2 nights as a 1man show!
I will add commentary of where we were & the days of that tour during that time.
Also, where we are today in race, politics & religion…it is a one man Gospel Redux as only El Vez can perform
