El Rio's 3rd Year Anniversary Fundraiser!

El Rio Community School presents the 3rd Year Anniversary Fundraiser on May 6, 2023 from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Carry the Light, the Future is Bright!

Come party with us at our adult only fundraiser in a private home featuring a buffet dinner, an open bar, entertainment, a paddle raise, a live auction, and silent auction.

Address: Once you purchase your ticket, the address to the event will be on the ticket. This will be an outdoor event in Hermon, CA 90042.

Sponsorship Opportunities: We are actively seeking sponsors for this event. There is an opportunity to have a custom made sign on the school building on Broadway! Click here for the information.

Master of Ceremonies: We are honored to have Meymuna Hussein-Cattan, a parent at El Rio and a CNN Hero, lead us for the evening!

Entertainment: Pfelton’s Jazz Band will be our musical guest. Also, DJ Amdex and DJ Brendita who are DJ’s for the local radio station KQBH 101.5 in Boyle Heights will be spinning some tunes for us to dance on the dance floor! We are incredibly appreciative of our talented guests.

Paddle Raise: Each guest or couple will receive a paddle with a number on it and there will be an opportunity to raise your paddle during the event to contribute money to El Rio! You are not required to have a paddle but you could win a free giveaway during our drawing for guests with paddles. There will also be a few live auction items where you will use your paddle to participate.

Silent Auction: The silent auction will be online and will start two weeks prior to the event. We will send over the link when it is ready. The items will be displayed physically at the event. The silent auction will end at 9:30pm PST. You are not required to be at the event to participate in the silent auction but if you happen to be there, you can pick up your silent auction item at the end of the night.

Dress: Feel free to wear bright colors! No dress code but please wear flat/comfortable shoes since it will be held outdoors in a backyard with natural terrain.

Seating: There will not be any assigned seating. There will be cocktail tables and small tables with plenty of seating.

Parking: Limited free street parking or Valet parking for $15. Feel free to carpool or rideshare. The entrance has stairs that go up to the backyard. Alternatively, there is a driveway with no stairs on the side driveway entrance on Lomitas Drive where you can also enter the event. If you need other assistance, please let us know. The event is ADA accessible.

Marketing: Please tell your friends/family/community and publicize on social media platforms. This is open to non-parents! Hope you can follow us on Instagram and Facebook for highlights and updates.
