Introducing El Paso's First Space Festival!

Join us Saturday, September 29th, 2018 for some some out of this world educational Earth and space activities.

Insights has teamed up with the El Paso Elks Lodge #187 and Boy Scout Troop #187 to launch El Paso's first ever space festival. The El Paso Space Festival is part of a nationwide celebration of educational programs designed to engage audiences in the awe-inspiring fields of Earth and space science. Explore Earth and space phenomena and learn about current NASA Research as you and your family launch stomp rockets, explore how water moves in a watershed, make and investigate moon craters, and much more! These fun activities are a great way to learn about current research happening at NASA in the fields of heliophysics, Earth science, planetary science, and astrophysics.

6:30 pm – 8:00 pm – Insights hosts more Earth & space activities at the Family Fun Fair for the Candlelighters Walk for Hope at Ascarate Lake

8:00 pm – 9:30 pm – Star viewing and edible solar system crafts with Insights and the Sun City Astronomers.
