An Evening with John Pavlovitz: Building a Bigger Table

America has been forever altered. This election has taken a toll on all of us; on our families, our friendships, our local communities, and our faith communities. How can we respond to these days in a way that is redemptive? How can we create or renovate community in a way that transcends the differences that have been exposed and the wounds we’ve received? What does the bigger table look like in these uncertain times in America?

Join author, pastor and activist John Pavlovitz, and like-minded friends, for an evening of hopeful and uplifting storytelling, encouragement, humor, and honest conversation about what we’ve all been through over the last few years and the possible way forward.

Special Reception (Requires purchase of Special Reception Ticket that also includes admission to the Speaking Engagement--DO NOT BUY A SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT TICKET IF YOU PURCHASE THIS TICKET--IT IS INCLUDED WITH THIS TICKET) - Saturday 9/22 5:00pm - 6:30pm

Want to meet John and engage with him in a small group? Purchase the Special Reception ticket and you will get a signed copy of his book at a wine and cheese reception that is limited to 30 people and begins 2 hours prior to the speaking engagement and runs from 5-6:30pm. You will also have access to preferred seating.

Workshop - Sunday 9/23 12:00pm - 2:00pm

Cultivating Hope in Difficult Times

To be compassionate is to bleed; to feel deeply for the damage around you and to be moved to respond to it. This is a beautiful and invaluable instinct, but it is also costly. In days when so much need is at our doorsteps and on our news feeds, how do we attend to it all without becoming overwhelmed and consumed? How can we cultivate hope when it is hard to come by?

Join author, pastor and activist John Pavlovitz for this workshop of authentic conversation that will provide you with techniques to help you stay focused and positive that will replenish your well of hope during this challenging time.
