The El Camino Hospital Auxiliary will be hosting a Junior Application Seminar for students interested in joining our Auxiliary at our Mountain View site. The seminar will be held:

Ground Floor - Conference Rooms F & G
In this seminar, the Director of Junior Auxiliary will explain the application process and hand out application forms to registered students. Parents may not attend or pick up applications for their child at the seminar.
Students must be at least 14 years old to apply. We will not be accepting students entering 12th grade in Fall 2014. Students completing 8th grade who are 14 by June 1st may apply.
Junior membership requires a commitment of at least one year or 100 hours of service. The El Camino Hospital Auxiliary does not offer summer programs or programs lasting less than one year. Volunteers must adhere to the attendance policy or may be asked to resign. Details on attendance and unexcused absences will be provided at the seminar.
Acceptance into the program is based on completed applications, teacher recommendations, service openings, and schedule match. Not all seminar attendees who later submit an application will be accepted into the program.

Shifts are typically between 3 to 3.5 hours on alternate weekends AM/PM or 2 hours weekly in the late afternoons or early evenings - weekday or weekend.
Registration opens on Monday April 14th at 6:00am. We will accept 60 participants for Mountain View site. Please sign up for one site only (MV or LG).
You will have 5 minutes when you sign up to complete your registration. You will be prompted for Name, Email, Phone, School, Grade.
You may return at any time to modify or cancel your registration. Keep in mind there will be a waitlist. Once cancelled, you may or may not be successful in signing up again.

What if I'm not available on the day of the event?
If you wish to volunteer but are unable to attend the event, you must register first and then contact the event organizer via this website within a day after you register. Special arrangements will be made with you. If we did not get your email within one day of your registration, and you fail to show up for the event, you will not be eligible to receive an application form.
