Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

EIR (Entrepreneurs In Residence) is a speaker series where entrepreneurs share their personal journeys, highs, lows and challenges.

This EIR's theme is "I was stuck, I was afraid, but I still left corporate - here's how my transition went..."

Come and hear stories and journeys from 4 people who made the choice (or the choice was made for them) to do their own thing, after spending time in a large organization:

Each session features 4 established entrepreneurs, emerging entrepreneurs and / or intrapreneurs in York Region sharing their personal experiences to inspire and educate other entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs. Stories are shared in 10-15 minute talks, and they are casual, low-key and no-sales (no "learn about my expertise and buy from me!") to focus on the stories.

Meet local professionals, aspiring and experienced entrepreneurs in a supportive (and pitch-free) environment. All futurepreneurs, intrapreneurs, mompreneurs, artrepreneurs, youthpreneurs, and friends are invited to join us at this lively and provocative event!

Find out more about EIR here, or watch some previous EIR talks!

This EIR is brought to you by Startup York and Markham Public Library.
