Event Details

Eighth Street is a short film that follows artist Dave Young Kim as he creates a mural in the heart of West Oakland. It premieres at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, June 22 at 3:00pm and will be followed by a Q&A by producer/director Matt Beardsley and the artist himself, Dave Young Kim. The New Parkway is a rebirthed Oakland icon that serves food and drinks, so come ready for an enjoyable afternoon.
