About this event

"Children, Adolescents, Young Adults, and Mental Health"

This year the Mental Health Conference will be held virtually and presented as a two-day webinar event.

It can be incredibly painful to see a child struggle – especially a child you know and love. Sudden or serious changes in the way a child learns or behaves can be cause for concern. Mental health care matters, particularly when it comes to our youth. The consequences of ignoring adolescent mental health conditions often extend into adulthood and can be profound, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). But recovery can become reality.

Join Prairie State College for a powerfully insightful two-day webinar focused on addressing and improving the mental health of children and adolescents. Tailored to those who work or live with young people, this event’s lineup will include various licensed experts and trained professionals who can offer modern solutions to tackling mental health concerns.

Participants will learn from a variety of breakout sessions.

This live online event is also open to all parents, guardians, and caretakers of children. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Boys are more than twice as likely as girls to be diagnosed with ADHD: 12.9 percent compared to 5.6 percent, according to the CDC.
