Come eat and celebrate with us!
In its 22nd year, the Museum at Eldridge Street's Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Street Festival is a celebration of the diverse traditions that give the Lower East Side and Chinatown its identity.
Embrace the spirit of this ever-changing neighborhood and its rich immigration history with the Museum's magnificent home, the 1887 landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue, as the backdrop. The festival fills Eldridge Street with a medley of Jewish, Chinese, and Puerto Rican tastes, sights, sounds, and crafts for folks of all ages to enjoy! This festival is free to attend, and all are welcome!
Registration preferred but not necessary. A full list of participants will follow as the date approaches.
The Egg Rolls, Egg Creams, and Empanadas Festival is supported, in part, by the National Endowment for the Arts; New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature; New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in Partnership with the City Council; Councilman Christopher Marte; the Jewish Youth Community Foundation.
The Festival will take place on Eldridge Street between Division and Canal Streets.
For COVID-19 safety and crowd control we will only be offering outside activities.
The Museum will be closed to visitors.
