Effective Interviews: Adapting Your Approach to Fit the Moment

Investigators and witnesses both bring their personal styles and characteristics to every interview. There may be noticeable differences in age, gender, racial background, and professional experience between you and the person you are interviewing. Even language and cultural backgrounds can be vastly different. Moreover, you may be naturally outgoing and talkative, while the witness appears introverted and reserved, or the reverse may be true.

In this online workshop, T9’s trainers, who have conducted countless witness interviews, draw on their own experiences and discuss how investigators can get the most from every witness by employing subtle changes to their personal interviewing styles. Using a range of scenarios, the trainers will demonstrate different techniques and give participants an opportunity to practice and modify their own approaches.

Join us for this fun and engaging workshop, which will cover both Title IX complaints and other challenging workplace investigations.

Continuing Education Certificates

Each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by T9 Mastered. In addition, participants can request MCLE certificates of attendance from the State Bar of California.
