What is effective altruism?

Effective altruism is about making the world as good as possible as efficiently as possible. EA researches and compares different methods of helping people and improving the world, with a strong emphasis on empirical data analysis and scientific thinking, which we use in order to select the most efficient ways of helping.

Tickets cost 400 CZK (~$17) apiece, and students and non-profit workers are eligible to a 62.5% discount, which brings the ticket price to just 150 CZK (~$7).
