Phoenix Rising, an organization that works with survivors of human trafficking, is hosting their first annual "Eeyore's Birthday Bash," a trauma-informed festival intended to raise awareness about child trafficking, benefit local nonprofit organizations, and create a sense of community among groups and individual attendees. It will be a block party by the Higgins Center for Nonprofits. There will be party favors, educational handouts, and activities for all ages. The event is handicap accessible, there is free parking and restroom facilities on-site, and earplugs and a decompression safe space are available to attendees upon request.
