Event description
EERA JP Wind & SETWind WORKSHOP on Wind power in energy systems

About this Event

With an ever-increasing share of energy production coming from renewable energy sources, with wind power leading the transition, the focus is shifting towards energy systems and the integration challenges that lie ahead. The workshop focuses on the challenges on the path to increasing energy systems integration, and explores how R&D supports this.

Areas of focus (but not necessarily limited to) are:

  • Offshore wind and Power-to-X
  • Hybrid power plants
  • Research infrastructure, testing and standards for energy systems integration

The workshop will be hosted by DTU Wind Energy at DTU Risø campus in Roskilde, Denmark and it will take place on 31st March – 1st of April 2020.

Please send potential contributions (title + abstract) to f.riccionicapelli@eera-set.eu by 24th of February if you are interested in presenting at the workshop.

The workshop is organized by John Olav Tande (coordinator of SP6 Offshore Balance of Plant), Paul McKeever (coordinator of SP2 Research Infrastructure, testing and standards) and Nicolaos A. Cutululis (coordinator of SP5 System Integration).
