Experiential Education Exchange

The Experiential Education Exchange is a diverse group of educators who believe deeply in experiential education as a tool to make the world a better place. Individuals new to experiential education as well as those with a wealth of knowledge and history are welcomed.

We are school leaders, camp directors, teachers, urban educators, environmentalists, outdoor educators, scientists, climbers, and active citizens. We each practice experiential, hands-on, and authentic education in different ways. Some of us work with children, while some of us serve adult populations. Some focus on animals, while others focus on climbing or plants.

The Experiential Education Exchange is an opportunity for us to come together to improve our practice, to share ideas, to collaborate on projects, and to make our city of St. Louis a better place to live for our students and ourselves.

Our Mission: The Experiential Education Exchange community supports excellent practice in experiential education and catalyzes growth and innovation.
