Salem Art Association (SAA) is hosting an Educator Open House Night for K-12 teachers and principals to learn more about the educational programs we have available for schools in Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties. The event is at the Bush Barn Art Center & Annex, 600 Mission St. SE in Salem, and runs from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20. There is no set program, so you can stop by that evening when your schedule allows.
At the Open House, you'll meet the SAA Education Department staff and learn more about our programs (which include Artists-in-Schools, Art & History Field Trips, and Art Boxes - reservable do-it-yourself kits for teachers). Our staff also want educators to share what they need to help their students so we can develop future programming that best meets the needs of the schools and their students.
