Description

Educators are invited to a FREE afternoon of science learning fun! They will experience a preview of the Hall's latest and greatest NGSS-aligned school workshops, meet Hall staff and other educators, learn about the Hall's new Learning Labs (including a Biotech lab and multimedia Inventors' lab), and have the opportunity to share their thoughts about science education in the Bay Area.

Preregistration is required for this free event. Please register by Wednesday, January 24th.

The Lawrence Hall of Science inspires students of all ages through exciting field trips and hands-on STEM learning workshops (https://www.lawrencehallofscience.org/visit/field_trips). All our workshops are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Educators from around the Bay Area are invited to attend a FREE event at the Hall to preview the workshops and peruse other high-quality resources that the Hall offers.

Attend our FREE Educators Open House day to:

  • Enjoy light snacks and networking with other educators and Hall staff.

  • Participate in a preview of a workshop tailored to specific grade levels.

  • See what the Hall's exhibits have on offer this winter and spring.

  • Learn about the Hall's new Learning Labs (including a Biotech lab and multimedia Inventors' lab)

  • Participate in an optional focus group to tell us more of your opinions about science education in the Bay Area.

Space is limited. Pre-registration is required for this event. Please email lhsreg@berkeley.edu with any questions.
