Description

JUNE 30th Session

** Please bring notebook, Tablet, etc. as there will be a class assignment!

Leveraging Relationships & Assets is presented by Barbara Jaynes with Positively Funded. One of Denver Gives Week 2016's, highest rated presenters, Barbara will present on the following:

We will discuss an actual nonprofit case study of how this nonprofit leveraged it’s most public and prominent relationship in a value-added proposition to this for profit entity. This study review will demonstrate the power of nonprofit partnerships with the for profit sector

Then we will delve into your relationships and ways to partner with existing assets to support your missions.

The goal is that everyone will leave the class with a potential for profit partner in mind to leverage, ideas on ways to collaborate with this partner and a plan of execution.

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Metered parking is available on the street, but only in increments of 2 hours. So at the break, you might need to feed the meter one more time. Paid parking lots are also available on the same block as well as paid garage parking across the street.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do not, but it's helpful sometimes.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

There is never a fee, but yes, your ticket is transferrable to any board member, leadership, intern, staff, or volunteer of your organization.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

That's fine as long as they are a board member, staff, leadership or volunteer for your organization.

Why are consultants not able to attend?

Our sessions are designed so that board members, leaders, staff and/or volunteers of the smaller nonprofit organizations are able to implement what they learn without a need to pay someone to do it. On top of that, we feel it's counter-productive to supply consultants with free training for which they will most likely charge their clients for the knowledge they learn at our sessions.

On top of that, we feel it's unethical to supply consultants with free training for which they will most likely charge their clients for the knowledge they learn at our sessions.
