Speaker: Frank H. Katz, Professor of Information Technology, Armstrong State University

Frank Katz has been a professor of IT at Armstrong State University since 2002 and has been instrumental in growing the school’s Cyber curriculum. He helped Armstrong achieve the prestigious designation as a National Security Agency Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (NSA-CAE/CD), an honor only awarded to those institutions with outstanding Cyber curriculum, outreach to the community, and service in the Cyber arena. He has been published multiple times regarding curriculum development in Cyber Security in the Digital Library of the Association for Computing Machinery (ASM), the foremost computing society, of which he is a member, and has presented these papers at several Cyber Security and computing conferences. He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Cybersecurity Education, Research and Practice (JCERP), of Kennesaw State University and is a lifetime member of the Military Cybersecurity Professionals Association.
