Our team of experts will provide an overview of the emergency management guidelines as well as a review of the latest requirements from CMS related to the post-acute care facilities.  The Maryland regional healthcare facilities perform annual hazard vulnerability assessments and weather-related disasters and IT disruptions always score the highest.  How do healthcare facilities plan and prepare for the most common events locally, regionally and federally?

The panel moderator for this event is:
Mary Helen McSweeney-Feld, Ph.D., LNHA, FACHCA , an Associate Professor in Healthcare Management from Towson University.

Our panelists include:

  • Dimitris Stamidis, CHEP, Senior Quality Manager and Emergency Manager at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore
