Description
This one day event is geared towards parents, professionals, and community members that work with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students to help them achieve their fullest potential.

- Special Considerations for Students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- A Question of Eligibility including Birth to Three & Transition to Preschool

Pre-orders For Educational Advocacy Guidebook are accepted until January 15th - $35, limited number of books will be available the day of the event.
FAQs
What are my transportation, lodging, & parking options for getting to and from the event?
For those who will be flying in & staying overnight. Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is the closest to attend.
Parking is available on site for free.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Certificates of Completion will be presented in exchange for returning the post-test to the names listed on the Ticket, Please be sure to update your information on eventBrite so that is correctly reflected.

We are a diverse group of mothers, fathers, professionals and community members all working together committed to the Mission and Vision of California Hands & Voices.We are Hearing, Deaf and Hard of Hearing adults who use a variety of means to communicate with our children, including but not limited to American Sign Language and English (reading, writing, and spoken).
We believe that families can make informed decisions with access to resources and support. Our outreach activities, parent/professional collaboration, and advocacy efforts are focused on empowering parents so that their Deaf and Hard of Hearing children can reach their highest potential.
California Hands & Voices is a nonprofit, all volunteer, 100% giving organization that depends on donations to continue to bring educational programs, family gatherings, and to further grow the network of empowered parents throughout the state. We are a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible and deeply appreciated no matter the amount.
