Event description

Description

Community-Apprentice and the Careers and Enterprise Company invite you to an evening of networking and panel debate with the Mayor focused on levelling the playing field for young people entering employment.

“Key to being a diverse and inclusive employer is to provide valuable and open access to work for all young people – we need to get to a place where opportunities are not defined by background.- Mayor Marvin Rees

This is an exciting opportunity for education and business leaders to explore the part we all can play in supporting young people to overcome the barriers they face entering an increasingly competitive world of work.

Have your say in our panel debate and network with others who share your comittment to supporting Bristol’s younger generation.

The panel: Marvin Rees - Mayor I Karl Brown - Partnership Board Member, Bristol Learning City I Nick Lewis - Head of Fairfield High School I Pete Martin, Customer Service Director, Highways England

Free entry. Refreshments on arrival. We look forward to seeing you there!

The organisers would like to thank Smith and Williamson for sponsoring this event.
