Education for Action: The Urgency of Interreligious Leadership for the Global Good

An International Conference Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of The John Paul II Center for Interreligious Dialogue and the Russell Berrie Fellowship in Interreligious Studies at the Angelicum.

MAY 7, 2019

12.30 PM - 7.00 PM

University of St.Thomas Aquinas, “Angelicum,” Rome

In our increasingly interconnected world, we face a number of global crises that require urgent action. People of faith have an essential role to play in leading inclusive dialogues that can bridge differences. But it is not only dialogue that matters. We must take action to bring about positive change for the common good. The issues we face cannot be solved alone. How can interfaith leaders move from study to practice, from education to action? What steps do leaders at all levels need to take to activate our networks, build bridges and move to impactful actions that address global challenges? This important event will focus on the power of interfaith leadership in bringing about positive change and highlights examples of inspiring initiatives - from grassroots activism to leading and influencing policymakers in secular and religious institutions. Join us to learn how you can share and enhance your own interfaith leadership skills and connect with other inspiring interfaith leaders.
