Event description
Do you have an interest in Entrepreneurship, but wonder where to get the "education" you need to be successful?

About this Event

When we hear the term "education", the focus typically shifts to the academic setting. While academia is very important, does it TRULY prepare individuals for the life of an Entrepreneur?

Join the North Texas Entrepreneur Education and Training Center, in partnership with Texas Wesleyan School of Business to foster the conversation on the important role of "education" in the Entrepreneurial process. This is not your typical talk on academia and the process of getting the right degree, however, this will be a real discussion of how all components of learning play a part in the growth and development of a thriving business.

Hear from a panel of Entrepreneurs, Community Stakeholders, and Academic Professors that will share their perspectives on the Entrepreneurial world and the best practices used to aid them in their processes.

This will be an interactive session of open dialog, resource sharing, and of course valuable information on how to succeed as an Entrepreneur from an educational standpoint.

***Lunch will be provided***

"Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a global movement occurring in hundreds of cities that reaches millions of people through events and activities."
