Description

EduLab Capital Partners hosts its first annual pitch competition event to be held on March 7th, 2019, at 5:00 PM at the Cambridge Innovation Center, in Cambridge Massachusetts.
*This event is a part of Japan Innovation Night - New Paradigm in Education (https://venturecafecambridge.org/japaninno/)

We are seeking applicants for the pitch competition from both US and Japanese EdTech startups, so you will be part of an international group of presenters. From these applicants, EduLab will select 2-3 semi-finalist winners from each geography (Unites States and Japan, e.g. 4 semi-finalists in total)

Semi-finalist companies are also entitled to having a booth at Venture Cafe during Japan Innovation Night - New Paradigm in Education.

[Procedure]

Each company will have seven (7) minutes to present their pitch, followed by 3 minutes of Q&A from judges, and a final 2 minutes for comments from the judges. After all companies have pitched the judges will deliberate and the grand prize winner will be selected. During the judges' 10 minutes deliberation period, companies are welcome to entertain questions from the audience.

[Prize - $1,600 total value]

The grand prize winner of the final competition will enjoy their choice of the following prize options:
