Event description


EdmodoCon is a free global PD conference where educators from around the world share inspiring stories and practical strategies from the best in the education community.

This year, we’re bringing EdmodoCon to you in Miami! See every speaker live, explore our expo hall, and join us for a complimentary breakfast, lunch, and closing reception with drinks and refreshments.

Registration and participation in EdmodoCon are completely free! And for a small fee, teachers who attend can also earn 1 graduate credit from Dominican University. Additionally, if you are a teacher in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools District, you can earn 9 master plan points for participating in EdmodoCon! Just make sure you register in My Learning Plan before the event.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Watsco Center Fieldhouse Parking: The closest parking garages are Ponce de Leon, Merrick, and Pavia with a rate of $1.50/per hour capped at $8 per day.

What do I need to I bring to the event?

Please bring a jacket/sweater and your Eventbrite ticket (attached to the email confirmation from Eventbrite).

Is WiFi available?

Free guest WiFi is provided during the event.

What if I can’t stay the entire time?

We encourage you to attend as much of the conference as possible, but there is no obligation to attend the entire day. There will be raffle prizes throughout the day, so you may want to stay for a chance to win!

When will the expo hall be open?

The expo hall will be open during registration, breaks, and meal times.
