Description

(This event has been rescheduled to 4/11, from 3/21)

Enjoy a free talk by Richard Kahlenberg, Senior Fellow at the Century Foundation and the “intellectual father of the economic integration movement” in K-12 schooling. Mr. Kahlenberg will discuss the benefits of integrated schools for both high-income and low-income students and strategies school districts can use, such as school choice and charter schools, to avoid replicating glaring patterns of residential segregation by race and income.

Registration is free but required. Refreshments will be available.

This event is part of #edjustice, a series of events on justice & injustice in the American education system sponsored by the Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice at Bridgewater State University.
