Join us for a surgical safari with our Child Life Specialist to orient you and your family to surgery. You will learn everything from pre-admission testing to the recovery unit!

Child Life Specialists focus on the emotional, social, and developmental well-being of hospitalized children and their families to help reduce stress and anxiety and promote effective coping. They are professionally certified and have bachelor’s or master’s degree in child life, child development, family studies or a related field.

Tours are held weekly on Monday evenings at 7 p.m.
