Event description

Description

Are you a community gardener, school garden helper, teacher, or home grower? Join our Master Gardener Volunteer, Fred, as he teaches how to tackle insects, disease, and wildlife in an edible garden, and shares edible growing strategies. Register early through ufsarasotaext.eventbrite.com to save your seat and learn of any changes.

This class, the fourth in Fred's four-class series on edible gardening in Florida, will focus on integrated pest management (IPM), beneficial and harmful insect identification, and use of organic and non-organic control methods. Attend this class only, or drop in for others in the series (look for "Fred" in the title). Each class in the series will be offered at Twin Lakes Park AND the North Sarasota Library for your convenience.

For more information, call 941-861-5000 or email sarasota@ifas.ufl.edu. If you require special accommodations to attend one of our events, please contact us in advance at 941-861-5000 or sarasota@ifas.ufl.edu.

NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events. Similar classes or events often are offered on future dates.
