Historically, this is a hallmark social and fundraising event bringing hundreds of community members together for an event but considering current gathering restrictions we are adapting the event for 2021 to a fun drive through take home dining experience.

El Dorado Hills Rotary quickly pivoted in response to the Coronavirus, shifting our meetings online and assessing emerging area needs to find where we could help. We found basic food resources for homeless and less fortunate families as an area in need, and in partnership with West Coast Events catering we distributed hot meals weekly for families at The Upper Room in Placerville. Over a 16-week span, over 3,000 dinners were provided by El Dorado Hills Rotary.

We have continued to provide our scholarships to primary and secondary grade students and support our high school Interact Club. We have partnered with EDH CSD to help community families who are having difficulty coping with the current conditions. With the CSD, we held a community wide ‘key hunt’ giving families an opportunity to get outside and into our local parks to look for prize keys while remaining in a safe environment. Most recently, our club provided $6,000 towards holiday baskets for El Dorado County families in need,
