Event description
Join us for a discussion about the importance of mental health and the Edgewood services that help families and communities heal.

About this Event

In times of crisis, mental health impacts all of us. Mental health is much more than how we feel. It's the actions we take to support ourselves and others. Now more than ever, it’s also a business and social change imperative.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we are all struggling to establish a sense of normalcy while still moving our personal and professional lives forward. The capacity to recover quickly from difficulties is known as resiliency. On the surface, resiliency is defined as one’s ability to overcome challenges.

However, as we dig deeper into cultivating sustainable resilience, we understand that ongoing loss, stress and trauma makes it hard to maneuver challenges. Want to dive deeper into mental health and how we can all learn how to cultivate resilience during this pandemic and beyond?

We will address these issues and more at Edgewood’s 4th Annual Corporate Breakfast taking place virtually on Tuesday, November 17th. Each fall Edgewood’s Corporate and Community Breakfast raises critically needed funds through sponsorships and contributions from corporations and individuals, to support nearly 11,000 children and families.

This event will educate you on how the Edgewood team has been responding to the pandemic and how we are finding our way forward. After hearing from top Edgewood executives and attending one of the five breakout discussions of your choice, you will leave this event with a tangible experience that will empower you as an individual and as a member of the Bay Area corporate, community culture. Resiliency can be cultivated and plays a key role in lasting social change.

Who Should Attend?

Corporate employees, community advocates, mental health professionals, young professionals and/or individuals interested in how we can help our communities focus on mental health and its ties to social justice.
